| The late 1990s saw Dimbodius start out as a solo project. Marcus Dimbodius, born 1976 and songwriter since the age of 13, produced and recorded NOT LOVE EP for release in October 2000. The celebrated 5-track EP, with Marcus singing and playing most instruments himself, included STRUCK BY THE SADNESS OF LOVE and UNTIL THE END both receiving substantial airplay on Swedish national radio. From www.Dimbodius.com mp3 songs were downloaded by the thousands and offers from record companies, publishers and bookers started pouring in. Dimbodius, however, remained on family run label EVENCO to record his full length debut WHILE WE FALL, co-produced by Martin Holmstrom and released in October 2004. 
The band, put together during 2005, consists of Patrik Adiels (bass), Martin "Styret" Blomberg (drums), Pelle Eriksson (keyboards) and Mattias Tell (guitars). As a live act Dimbodius has become known for their ambitious production and intense stage presence with a dynamic delivery of deep emotions feeding off the audience's response to every nuance of the performance. |
