Not here, how can you claim to be an independent music community with corporate ads splashed all over the page. We take independence very seriously. We were indie before indie was cool!
What makes Bonxo different?
We are focused on music and only music! We are 100% independent, we are not part of hierarchy, it's just us and you, no middlemen whatsoever!
What kind of music does Bonxo feature?
All genres are welcome. If you don't see a particular genre that fits your music, contact us, we will make one just for you!
Is Bonxo free?
Yes, Bonxo is completely free. Listener accounts are free. Basic artist accounts are free!
How do I sign up?
Simple, just click on "register", fill out the registration form, click on the activation link from the email we send and your off!
What kind of account should I choose?
Well if your an artist you should choose artist and upload some songs for our starving ears! If you are a music lover/connoisseur but do not play and record your own music then you should register as a listener and join our community!
What formats do you sell? We only sell real physical cd's, with artwork and all :) We have plans to sell digital albums as well in the near future. There will never be any singles for sale on Bonxo, just complete albums.
How does the money work?
You sell a disc, we ship it, we pay you. Payments are made within 48 hours of you choosing to withdraw either by paypal or check.
I want to list my album but I don't want to register online, can you do all the work for me?
Yes we can, happily! Just download our submission form from the following link. We will build your profile page, song pages, and album pages. All you have to do is fill out this little form and send us your discs! Letting people know we are selling your discs can only help!
How do I track my sales?
Log in and view your dashboard. Your balance will be shown in big bright red letters. Once you have a balance you can withdraw at any time
I own a label with 3 or more releases, can you give me a discount?
Absolutely, just contact us via email, IM, or call us!
What do I get when I list an album on Bonxo?
You get your own profile page, album page, and 3 song pages which enter the charts in an ad-free environment.
How much does it cost to list my album?
It's $29 if you submit the album through the web, and it's $35 if you mail us your album using our submission form. If you choose to submit your album with the submission form we do all the work including building your profile pages, song pages, and album listing. Once we have completed building your pages we send you log in details so you can manage your account.
How long does it take to make my album "live" on Bonxo?
Usually 1 to 2 business days after we have received your material.
Are there any fees associated with the sale of an album?
Bonxo takes a $3 cut per sale to cover our overhead. So if you set your price @ $13 per album, you would receive $10.
I've sold an album but I haven't gotten paid, what gives?
Bonxo does not send out payments on a pre-defined date, and we do not have any minimum balance requirements. Instead, we let the artists decide when they wish to collect payment, and how much the wish to withdraw. Once you have a sale it is reported in your account dashboard in the balance field. You can choose to withdraw funds at anytime by selecting "withdrawal" and filling out the amount and delivery method, check or paypal. We pay you within 48 hours of your withdrawal request.
