Take the heaviness of Black Sabbath, the power funk of Audioslave, the punk of Nirvana, and the melody of The Beatles... put them in a blender, and you have a MANiC aggression smoothie. A MANiC aggression smoothie or a bunch of blood, guts, and guitar strings. Either way, the combo of these bands would be the closest to describing MANiC aggression as you can get.
The fearless four were formed in 2001 by brothers David and Brian Lyda in Laurens County. Soon after, they recruited the low-end insanity of Jason Crapps. With original vocalist David Ackerman, the band played several shows at various fairs, charity events, and local radio. In early 2005, Justin Kay joined the band as the new vocalist. Armed with only their instruments and astonishing good looks, MANiC aggression was now ready to rock the masses with their uncompromising songs about life, love, and God.
MANiC aggression has since played several shows in and around the southeast at established rock venues, festivals, and fairs. MANiC aggression has also opened for such national acts as Jackyl and Silvertide (who were featured in the new movie “Lady In The Water”), and we will soon be opening for Disciple, The Afters, and Day of Fire. |
