Name John Peptis website www.peptismusic.com Age 26 Date of Birth April 12, 1980 He resides in Williamsport, PA Influences Eddie Veder, Ben Harper, COUNTING CROWS, SISTER HAZEL, ZAKK WYLDE, Train, Maroon 5, Tracy Chapmen, Matchbox Twenty, Jack Johnson, Rascell Flatts, Tim Mcgraw, Keith Urban, way to many to keep going, Peptis, has been writing his own music for only a few years. He taught him self how to play the guitar. He says, "Im not the best guitarist in the eyes of the ones who've been playing years and years, but I've always been told that it does not matter how you do what you do as long as what your doing gets done in a way thats right, and I feel I do get it done right." Peptis starting singing when he was 5 years old with his mom at different places. Singing anything from the Everly Brothers, to Elvis, to Randy Travis. Peptis is all about writing what he feels and doing it in a way that others can understand and feel as well. Peptis does not zero in on writing any one kind of music. Lyrics are the power of his music. He loves to use sarcasm in his music. His music is therapy for the broken heart. John Peptis is currently working on a project with Ed Russell. Castle Records and Tower Records Group out of Nashville, TN. Ed Russell has produced many artists, both major and independent. Castle Records head engineer, Ron Treat, has worked in some of the finest studios in Nashville with the biggest stars in country music.
