Ringleader is a 4-piece rock band based in the Washington D.C. area. Using a guitar based sound as its focus, Ringleader has enjoyed many positive reviews of its recorded material. It's latest CD Single, "What He Says" produced by noted Producer Jim Ebert, is available on CDBaby.com in CDR format. It is also available for download purchase in e-stores such as Apple's iTunes and Napster.
Formed in 2003 mainly as a studio project by Chris Brownelle and Lena Esposito, Ringleader spent its first two years focusing on writing and recording original material. Upon release of its Demo "No Slide Guitar" in 2005, Ringleader began playing live at Northern Virginia venues such as IOTA Club and Cafe, Jammin' Java, TT Reynolds and Fat Tuesdays. In 2007, Ringleader formed it's own publishing subsidiary, Get Ringleadermusic Publishing (ASCAP). Working in conjunction with several accredited publishing houses, Ringleader plans to license songs for upcoming film and TV placements. Ringleader songs have already been incorporated into the following publishing companies' libraries: Featured Sounds (credits include placements on HBO and MTV), Noteborn Music (Spike TV) and Songs With Visions (CNN, Discovery Channel).
Also in 2007 Ringleader added Dean and then Eddie to its lineup. Dean played bass in various bands in the Florida area upon moving to the DC area in 2006. Eddie played drums in several bands around the DC area before joining Ringleader.
Ringleader will continue to play live throughout the year in addition to beginning a new recording project in the Fall. |
