Maybe it\'s my age or simply the company I keep, but I do seem to lose a little bit of me somewhere everyday these days, and once lost they are gone forever: I\'m terminally depleting. The song has Beatle influences I suppose due to them being just about the only band I listened to from being 16 to 25 (What kind of songs do I write? I write both kinds: Lennon AND McCartney - Ha!).

Over a Sonic Stop drum loop I added bass and acoustic guitars (both tuned down a semi-tone - the fourth string on the acoustic was then tuned up a tone for the chorus riff), then added cellos and violins, some synthy sounds, harpsicord, percussion, lots of harmonies, and a lead vocal or two ... oh, I put some \'falling apart\' sound effects on the intro for a bit of humour, hoping to lighten up a potentially depressing theme.

2008.04.07 mhmproductions	AL I remember the first time I spun this nugget. I'm glad it's back, and as always it's a joy to see you posting again at your fav site! I'll make a deal with you brother across the pond... how about you sell your CD's from Bonxo and I'll be the first to buy one through the site?! I love this tune and the only thing I can say is I would have been less shy with the breaking effect at the top! Kick it up about 5db dude! Really now, it's all great even with the shyness at the top. Just kidding you a little there... Take care and maybe we'll hear more of your wonderful work here. ~ mhm
