Youngstown Ohio had been crushed economically after The steel mills left in the early 80s ( our main income source ).....Where I grew up there used to be an incredible amusement park.....Many of my best friends and I had some of our most magical,enchanting childhood experiences there, growing up during the industrial boom of the 50s and 60s. Now its just an overgrown run-down neglected parcel of concrete and grass. I drive past the ruins frequently. so for me, " Idora " will always be a certain state of mind of what we are all losing during this period of history.
