Song detail

Inspired by a Paul Simon song among other things, this story of love, deceit and forgiveness was written and recorded in 4 days at the end of May 2005. I recorded several acoustic guitars, then sequenced Hammond organ, piano, tremoloed Rhodes, double bass and lots of harmonies over a waltzy 4 bar brushed drum loop.
