I love the lyrics of Van Dyke Parks ( lyricist and collaberator with Brian Wilson on the " Smile" Album ) I am only recently a fan of Brian Wilson. But now Im hardcore. ( Mainly for Brians solo efforts without the beach boys). I wrote this song almost right after I heard the song " Orange Crate Art " ( A masterpiece IMHO )...So its kind of an " inside" multi-leveled song...Its a lyrical homage to Park's American, allegorical, symbolism and artistic approach to words in song BUT  its actually about Brian Wilson's Famous 3year Bed-in period ( Man was he depressed )......And to make matters more complicated Its my own personal take on some subjects as well........ MOST importently Ive tried also to make the song accessible to those who dont know or wouldnt care about all this "inside" artsy stuff anyways LOL..........please enjoyÂ
