My Sci-Fi space adventure/battle soundtrack.
Waiting on the Rebel forces contact with the Earth,
They would take and sell there souls for half of what they're worth,
Waiting on their leader's voice to send them into flight,
Their chaos reigns supreme, In this they take delight,
Their strategies are broken, elements of fear they worship,
Insufferable indignities they force upon the common man,
Now I see your failing logic, how can I be sure,
Left to your cruel devices, you may just find a cure,
Then you turn the table in apocalyptic reason,
Gladly throw it all away for one brief moment in the sun,
Higher, higher, pure desire, Rebel Fire burning with the thought that there can be a battle won,
Blood enraged must cycle back upon itself, and ravenous, devours all the goodness it has done,
"Save your perimeter" echoed from their craft,
As they die to save their world, their leaders sit and laugh,
As they fight to come together, the Evil in them lies,
Warlord at some great distance shoots them from the skies,
All at once the enemy steps upon some common ground,
His gazed fixed upon himself, the enemy then turns around,
He commands the greatest capsule, a body, and a mind, a soul,
Turns his weapons on himself, lost contact with his self control,
Can anybody hear me...are you listening,
Can anybody feel the pain...all the pain,
The cycle must not repeat itself...no not again,
It all seems so insane,
Can anybody feel the notion, the fire burning deep inside,
In contact with some mindless task or redirected arrogance,
Waiting on the Rebel forces contact with the Earth,
They would take and sell there souls for half of what they're worth,
Waiting on their leader's voice to send them into flight,
Their chaos reigns supreme, In this they take delight,
Their strategies are broken, elements of fear they worship,
Insufferable indignities they force upon the common man,
Then you turn the table in apocalyptic reason,
Gladly throw it all away for one brief moment in the sun,
All the pain.
